Mark J. Breslin, P.E., Vice Chair
Mark
J. Breslin became a member of the Ellis Medicine Board
of Trustees in June 2008. He was a board member for the
former Bellevue Woman's Hospital.
Mr. Breslin, a Schenectady native, is a registered professional
engineer and serves as vice president and general manager for the
New York North Business Unit of Turner Construction Company, a
national pre-construction, construction management/general
contracting, consulting, program management and design-build
corporation. He has more than 25 years of experience in the
construction industry and has been involved in the management of
such notable projects as the Center for Medical Science, Albany, NY,
the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, the Buffalo Life Sciences Complex,
Buffalo, NY, and the Oxford Veterans Nursing Home in Central New
York.
Mr. Breslin earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from
Villanova University. He is a member of General Building
Contractors. As a longtime Capital Region resident, he is a strong
advocate of community involvement. In addition to his service at
Ellis Medicine, Mr. Breslin also serves on the boards of the
American Heart Association, Albany Institute of History and Art, and
Girls, Inc.
