Cardiac Honors

Ellis is ranked among the top 10% of hospitals in the United States for cardiac surgery in 2010 by HealthGrades, a leading, independent health care ratings agency. Ellis has also received 5-stars (highest rating) for the treatment of heart attack by HealthGrades.

Ellis has received the Silver award for heart failure care by the American Heart Association. Ellis is recognized for its success in using the Get with the Guidelines program for improving quality of care and patient outcomes. Ellis is among 569 hospitals nationwide to be recognized in a congratulatory message from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association in the July 28, 2009 issue of U.S. News & World Report.
