Cecelia
(CeCe) Lynch is responsible for overseeing nursing care
at the hospital and the professional needs of Ellis
nursing staff.
Mrs. Lynch has more than 20 years of experience in the
nursing field. She joined the Ellis team in 2002 as a nursing
quality improvement coordinator and was promoted to nursing
resource director in 2006. Prior to her work at Ellis, she
served in the following roles: nurse manager of emergency
services at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI; director of
customer service at Northwest Community Nursing and Health
Service, Harmony, RI; nurse manager, assistant nurse manager and
clinical nurse I and II at Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.
Mrs. Lynch earned a master's degree in health services
administration at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, and a
bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Rhode Island
in Kingston, RI. She is a member of the American Organization of
Nurse Executives and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society for
Nurses, as well as a former president of the Rhode Island
Council of Nurse Managers.
